  15.  The latest version of the DOSODI LAN driver (INTEL596.COM) for the Series 73 
  16. and Series 65 boards (driver released on 3/23/93) can be loaded into high 
  17. memory in order to allow more space to be  used for certain applications.
  18.  
  19. The driver is loaded into high memory using the following method:
  20.  
  21. 1)    Load HIMEM.SYS and EMM386.EXE in the CONFIG.SYS file:
  22.  
  23.         DEVICE=C:\<path>\HIMEM.SYS
  24.         DEVICE=C:\<path>\EMM386.EXE NOEMS

  26. NOTE: The CONFIG.SYS file will not take effect until the system has been 
  27. rebooted.

  30. 2)    When loading INTEL596.COM, use the following command line:

  32.         LH INTEL596
  33.  
  34. This will load the INTEL596.COM LAN into high memory, conserving regular memory 
  35. space for other applications.  If the drivers are loaded with a batch file, 
  36. edit the batch file to insert the command. above.
